In response to COVID-19, CMS has issued the CMS Interim-Final COVID-19 Rule which dramatically changes the ability to deliver and bill for telehealth services. CMS has expanded the variety of services eligible for reimbursement, now including evaluation and management visits, mental health counseling, and preventative health screenings.

QuickCred, MedTrainer’s credentialing division, is taking advantage of these changes and will help providers learn about the expansion of telehealth services which can now be reimbursed and include initial patient visits, home visits, and initial nursing facility visits.
